Cascade Animal Connection was founded in 1996 by owner and Certified TTouch Training Instructor, Kathy Cascade. Kathy employs an integrated model of training based on motivational techniques, clear communication, and respect for our animal companions.  With the goal of creating a positive and fun learning environment for both animals and humans alike, Kathy has shared her creative and humorous teaching style in seminars across the US, Canada, and Europe.  Designed to provide each participant with meaningful, hands-on experiences, her workshops and private lessons will help you develop the skills and tools needed to solve your animal's behavior issues, enhance their well-being, or simply improve your communication with your friend.

The foundation of Kathy's work is the Tellington TTouch^® Method.  This phenomenal technique has helped countless animals around the world.  She also brings several years of experience in obedience training using positive and motivational techniques that have proven to be both effective and fun for people and animals!   Due to her keen interest in working with dogs with fear and reactivity issues, Kathy teaches a special focus seminar called S.A.N.E. Solutions for Extreme Dog Behavior.^®  This seminar incorporates sensory enhanced learning techniques such as TTouch and other creative exercises to help dogs reduce stress, develop confidence, and learn to cope with challenging situations. The goal is to give the dog a new experience of feeling safe, relaxed, and in control while in the presence of other dogs or people, which previously would have elicited a fearful response.
